     Here are the deals that caught my eye in the grocery and drug store ads this week. 


TRENDS:
As we are coming up on Labor Day, stores are advertising many of the foods you might serve at a fall holiday cook-out. Pop and beverages (often have purchase requirements--check ad closely) and meats for the grill are featured in ads. 


Stores are currently offering more combination deals that yield good savings, but it's a good idea to read through the ad at home to decide how you will complete purchase requirements, and write a list so you can check off items to make certain you get the deal.

*Dawn Dishwashing Liquid 9.5-10.3 oz. .99 - .25 mfr. coupon in most Sun., Aug. 28 papers = .74 after savings. I never pay full price for dish liquid--CVS and Walgreens have generous deals on it, and there is usually a manufacturer's coupon available.
Dean's whole, skim, 1%, 2% (excludes flavored milk) pay $3.19, get $1.00 extrabucks reward for next time, it's like getting it for $2.19 after extrabucks. Extrabucks offer limit of 2 per household with card.
